I tried my first Schnitzel last night. I didn't know what to expect but fried meat who can go wrong and Schnitzelhaus served a very delicious Schnitzel. (I think I like typing Schnitzel)
So I asked some friends (FP) to name fried meats:
chicken fried steak - yes please
shredded and fried pork ear in vietnamese salads - um ok I'll try it
calamari - yes
chicken liver - mmmhmm
pljeskavica - ok!
buffalo chicken wings - special place in my heart and stomach
cereal-fried chicken thighs - Download erskine_and_flora_s_favorite_cerealfried_chicken_thighs.pdf
EMPANADA - sure from any country
Shrimp tempura - thank you
Sweet & sour pork - nom
Corn dog - who doesn't love a corn dog
Deep-fried hot dogs from Swanky
Frank's.
Dak Ddong Jib - which is not chicken anus just the gizzard and I can say I'm ok with that "nowhere close to the colloquial functions of the bird" I'm in.
tonkatsu - i think anyway you try it fried meat is good
empanadas aren't really fried meat though, are they? the dough outside is fried, but the meat just kind of steams inside. but then if you go down that road, corn dog, tempura, anything with batter isn't fried meat. and hmmmm i'll have to think about this more after i go eat.
