A little late in the day but went for my afternoon walk and right around the corner was this nice PARK set up on Mission just west of 1st street. It looked pretty neat I wish I had arrived earlier. It's very odd to see so much green in an area I pass everyday, pleasant really.

I've been running 4 miles around Lake Merritt. This is the view about 2/3rds of the way. My area is just left of center.
I tried my first Schnitzel last night. I didn't know what to expect but fried meat who can go wrong and Schnitzelhaus served a very delicious Schnitzel. (I think I like typing Schnitzel)
So I asked some friends (FP) to name fried meats:
chicken fried steak - yes please
shredded and fried pork ear in vietnamese salads - um ok I'll try it
calamari - yes
chicken liver - mmmhmm
pljeskavica - ok!
buffalo chicken wings - special place in my heart and stomach

Dak Ddong Jib - which is not chicken anus just the gizzard and I can say I'm ok with that "nowhere close to the colloquial functions of the bird" I'm in.

I was rather impressed with todays harvest i had to do the shirt holding tomatoes thing it was nice to have so many in a day.
